Fond Memories
Amber
Feb 15, 2009

Every year, in awe, I see the trees go through their beautiful journey here in the Lehigh Valley. It is something that I will never forget. When I am taking a walk and look up at the mountains and see the beautiful colors of fall or the magnificent white snow that has fallen on everything in site. Even with the craziness of the winter holidays, I love that when I drive through Bethlehem, the twinkle lights make me feel part of their beautiful tight knit city. I have to admit that when I moved into Hellertown I didn't really like the city very much. It has been about four years and I have grown quite fond of this beautiful place. I find myself aimlessly driving on roads I haven't been on before and every time realize why. There is breathless beauty at just about every corner of Hellertown and Saucon Valley. Little streams or amazing trees, it never ceases to amaze me. Monocacy Park in Bethlehem is another Favorite place with so many wonderful memories. When I was a little girl, my mother would take my two sisters and I there as a treat. We would feed the ducks, play near the waterfall or just take a nice summer stroll. The Lehigh Valley is a place I will always dote on for the rest of my life.
