I've always been fascinated with the stone buildings that align themselves on the west end of Trexler Park. As a kid my brother and I named these buldings the Easter Bunny's house. Talk about a vivid imagination. I remember taking an initiative to further inspect the landmarks and came to realize that they were just hunting cabins for General Trexler and his friends and family. I happen to really love the fact that these buildings remain in the park and continue to elicit the imagination of a newer generation. Just the other day upon taking a walk I heard a little boy remark to his father.. "It's the easter bunnies house!" His statement blew me away for all I know maybe generations of rabbits live near there to keep their legend brewing.
